The fourth Star Trek series features the starship Voyager. Voyager is the first Star Trek ship capable of landing on a planet. It's also the first Star Trek ship to be captained by a woman, Kathryn Janeway.

During the pursuit of a rebel Maquis vessel, both Voyager and the rebels are stranded in a distant part of the Delta Quadrant. Their ship destroyed, the remaining Maquis are forced to work alongside the Federation crew as they try to return to the Alpha Quadrant.

This series takes us closer to the original Star Trek; a smaller ship, and a crew often finding themselves in situations that test their ingenuity to the limits.
